Addie and Allie's Magical World of Books brings the joy of reading to life through one-of-a-kind adventures starring your child. Each story is custom-printed with your child as the hero – their name and character appear throughout the book, making story time a truly personal, magical experience. 

Kids light up with wonder when they see themselves in a story, which keeps them more engaged and excited to read. In fact, studies show that personalized stories can boost children’s reading enjoyment and even improve comprehension by up to 40%, thanks to that personal connection. 

Our mission is to spark imagination and a lifelong love of reading, by creating enchanting tales where your little one is the star of the show.

We offer a range of customized books and related goodies that celebrate the magic of storytelling:

• Personalized Children’s Storybooks (Softcover & Hardcover): Our core product is a collection of beautifully illustrated storybooks that you can personalize with your child’s name and details. Each book is available in durable hardcover or lightweight softcover formats, so you can choose the perfect keepsake. 
• Branded Merchandise: Extend the magic beyond the pages with our Addie & Allie branded goodies! We have mugs, water bottles, t-shirts, and hoodies featuring our whimsical characters and designs. These items are great for everyday use and let kids celebrate their favorite storybook world. (Currently, these merch items are not individually personalized with names, but they carry the fun spirit of our brand.)
• Magical Sticker Sets: We also offer sticker packs filled with charming illustrations from our stories. Kids can decorate their notebooks, crafts, or any creative project with stickers that reflect the joyful and imaginative themes of our books.

Each product is designed with the joy of reading and magical personalization in mind. We’re continually expanding our catalog to bring new stories and products that delight children and parents alike.

Personalizing a book at Addie and Allie’s Magical World of Books is easy and fun. Our website will guide you step-by-step: simply choose the storybook you want and enter your child’s name (and other details, age, interests, depending on the story). 

You might also get to include a special dedication message to give the book a personal touch. Once you’ve added all your child’s details, preview how the story will include their name and choices, then place your order. Our team will then print a unique copy just for your child, where their name and character show up on every page of the adventure.

Yes – we ship to Singapore and make sure your personalized books arrive quickly and safely! In fact, Singapore is our home base and launch location, so all orders to Singapore are fulfilled with priority. We’ve partnered with Gelato’s global print network to produce and deliver orders locally; your book is printed at a facility in or near Singapore and shipped right to your door.

This local printing means faster delivery times and lower shipping costs for you. We currently deliver exclusively within Singapore, but we’re expanding soon – countries across Southeast Asia (like Malaysia and Indonesia) and also India are next on our list. Stay tuned, because we can’t wait to share our magical books with more of the world!

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the shipping method you select (Standard or Express). We use Gelato’s shipping service, which provides real-time rates – simply add your items to the cart and enter your delivery address, and you’ll see the available shipping options and their exact fees before you finalize the order. 

The price depends on factors like the destination country and the item’s weight, but rest assured that you’ll get the best available rate through our partner network. There are typically two choices: Standard shipping (the most economical) and Express shipping (faster, premium option). You’ll be able to compare the costs and delivery estimates for each at checkout, ensuring there are no surprises. (Note: All orders ship via our print partner Gelato, so shipping fees are set according to their reliable international rates.)

We know you’re excited to receive your magical book, so we work hard to get it to you as soon as possible. Each personalized book is printed on demand – usually it takes about 1-2 days to custom-print your order. After that, delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose:

• Standard Shipping: For deliveries within Singapore, standard shipping typically takes around 2–4 business days after productionsupport.gelato.com
. (If you’re in another country once we expand our shipping, standard international delivery might be about 4–6 business days, depending on the location.)
• Express Shipping: If you need your order sooner, express shipping can deliver in as fast as 1–3 business days in Singapore. This expedited option costs a bit more but is the best choice for gifts or urgent orders.

Overall, Singapore customers can expect their personalized book to arrive in roughly a week or less from the order date in most cases. We’ll provide an estimated delivery date at checkout for your order. You will also receive a tracking link once it’s shipped, so you can follow your book’s journey to your home. 

(Do note that during peak periods – like holidays or big promotional sales – production or delivery might take a little longer. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.)

If you realize you need to make a change, please contact us immediately (email us or message via our website) with your order details. We’ll do everything we can to catch your order before it goes to print and update the details or cancel it if necessary. 

However, because we personalize and start processing orders very quickly (often within hours of you placing it), we cannot guarantee that changes can be made once the order is in production. In fact, once printing has begun, we unfortunately cannot modify or cancel the order. 

This is why we kindly ask you to double-check all names, messages, and shipping info at checkout. Our team understands mistakes happen, and we’ll try our best to help if you reach out right away – but if the book is already being printed, we’ll be unable to stop it. Bottom line: double-check personalization details to be safe, and don’t hesitate to contact us ASAP if an error occurs.

Because our products are personalized and made just for you, we do not offer returns or refunds at this time. 

Customized books and printed items are unique to each order, so we appreciate your understanding that we can’t resell or restock them. All sales are final for now, so please review your order details carefully (especially the spelling of the child’s name and your shipping address) before confirming. That said, our goal is to make you 100% happy with your purchase! If we made a mistake or your book arrives damaged/defective, please let us know right away – for example, send us a photo of the issue – and we will gladly send a free replacement reprint as soon as possible. 

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. (As we grow, we may re-evaluate our return and refund policy in the future, but for now we handle issues on a case-by-case basis to make things right.)

Our personalized storybooks are crafted for young children but truly enjoyed by a wide range of ages. The stories are most magical for roughly ages 2 to 8 – perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and early readers who love seeing their name and adventures in print. That said, there is really no strict age limit on the joy of a personalized book.

Babies and one-year-olds delight in hearing their name during read-aloud time (with a parent’s help), and older kids up to about 9 or 10 years old still get a huge kick out of being the hero of the story. Our books are designed to grow with your child: a toddler will enjoy the colorful pictures and hearing their name, while an early reader will be proud to read “their own” book. Even adults find these books charming as keepsakes! In short, anyone who’s young at heart can appreciate the magic – but we specifically write the stories to be engaging for kids around 0–8 years old, with an emphasis on beginner-friendly language for new readers.

Yes! We offer our personalized books in both hardcover and softcover editions. You can choose the format that best suits your needs at the time of ordering. Our hardcover books are premium bound with a sturdy cover – great for a long-lasting keepsake or a gift meant to be treasured. The softcover books (paperback style) are lightweight and kid-friendly, making them easy for little hands to hold and carry around. Both versions feature the same high-quality paper and vibrant illustrations inside, so the story will be magical in either format. The main differences are durability and price: hardcovers tend to be more durable (and often chosen for special gifts or lasting libraries), whereas softcovers are more affordable and portable. No matter which you pick, your child’s personalized adventure will be printed with beautiful quality. (Tip: If you’re unsure, many parents opt for hardcover as a gift or keepsake, since it can better withstand lots of love and re-reading!)

Our branded merchandise – such as mugs, water bottles, t-shirts, and hoodies – features the fun characters and logos from Addie and Allie’s Magical World, but these items are not individually customized with names or personal details. In other words, the storybooks are currently the only products where we print your child’s name or custom features. The merch items are pre-designed with our whimsical artwork (for example, a mug might have a cute illustration from our stories, or a t-shirt might display our magical logo or characters). They’re meant to complement the books and let kids wear or use a piece of the story’s world in everyday life. We chose high-quality materials for all merchandise, and they come in child-friendly sizes and styles – but you won’t need to enter personalization for these items. (As our brand grows, we might explore offering personalized merch in the future – e.g. adding a child’s name to a hoodie – but for now, merchandise is sold as-is with our standard designs.)

In the near future, you can expect to see new storybook guides and whimsical characters added to our collection – each with new adventures, themes, and characters to keep your child enchanted. We’re also exploring additional product ideas that fit our mission of joyful, imaginative play. 

On the shipping front, as mentioned, we will be expanding our delivery reach to more countries so that more children can experience our books.
